Hello metal lovers,

This club is dedicated to all the awesome metal bands out there and their fans. If you love metal join this club and show your support. This club supports metal of all forms. We do not support emo.

Sorry for being absent for such a long time. I also run the club which is a lot of work at the moment. There's also been a crisis that the club got banned due to one of the staff members being banned. It's going to be sorted out soon I hope

It seems like the club is growing and the word of metal is spreading throughout dA Don't forget to join in the contest for the club ID. If you haven't been added to the member list yet make sure you sent a note telling us your favourite band as it says so in the Join info journal (link is below).

Contest
We're looking for someone to design the club's ID. If you think you're up to it then submit your artwork in a note entitled: ID Contest
The closing date is the beginning of August. The club members will judge the winner. The winner will have the pride of being the creator for the club ID which will be on display in our front page.

Submissions
You can submit art to the club by linking a note containing a thumb of you work. Please state in your artist comments that you give us permission to submit your art. Also keep in mind that your works of art comply with deviantArt's copyright and submission policies [link] What we accept:

- Fanart such as drawings of bands and their members or fanart inspired by their songs (state which song and band). Please also send us polished works of art. This means that we don't accept quick scribbles or doodles.

- Stamps: yeah, we need more stamps to show our love for metal so you can put them in your journals.

- Songs: write your own songs inspired by metal bands! Are you perhaps in a metal band? then you can send us your lyrics and we'll link back to your band's website so you can promote them. Please don't send us songs that don't belong to you!

- Pictures: we'd love to see your pictures of metal concerts you've been to or you meeting your favourite band. Please send us high quality pictures. Pictures taken in low quality on a cellphone don't count.

Club rules
The club rules are pretty much the same as the rules on dA but we do ask all members to be nice to each other. No flaming, discrimination because of race, ethics and so on. Please respect your fellow metal heads and ensure everyone has a good time.
